We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator for our Landscape Maintenance Department to manage commercial projects throughout Melbourne in our fast paced and dynamic office located in Yarraville.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing warranty contracts from start to finish across a wide range of completed landscape construction Projects.
- Having a focus on high end delivery and client correspondence.
- Maintaining a close working relationship with various Landscape Architects, whilst playing a key role in our maintenance team to drive project administration duties.
- Working with department managers and site supervisors to complete scheduled maintenance site visits and associated variations on time, on budget and ensure the highest standard of workmanship for our clients.
- Preparing all Maintenance Management Plans and assisting with scheduling.
- Liaising with Clients, Architects, Superintendents, Councils, and other stake holders as required.
- Assisting our estimator with maintenance tender pricing.
- Certifying and Processing project invoices and assisting department manager with project billing.
Minimum selection criteria:
- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- High level of client liaison and customer service experience with confidence to uphold contract requirements.
- Being highly organised and have a strong appreciation of landscape maintenance requirements combined with a track record in contracts administration within commercial/ residential sector.
- High level of written and spoken communication skills.
- Confidence and willing to work in a team environment.
- Experience liaising, procurement and negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Experience in submitting and approval of RFI's and Contract Variations.
- Ideally 2-3 years of experience in the construction or maintenance sector (residential or commercial) in project management, contract administration, project procurement etc. would be highly regarded. However, those with less experience are still encouraged to apply if you believe it to be applicable. Landscape experience is preferable but not essential.
