About the Role
Our business is booming, and due to our rapid growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Landscape Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Adelaide area. If you are passionate about maintaining beautiful landscapes and have a knack for managing teams, this is the perfect role for you.
You will need a proven track record in delivering high quality landscape maintenance works through industry best practice, excellent knowledge and standards of OH&S. Prior experience in open space contract management would be highly regarded
Reporting to the State Manager, you will be directly involved in the management of multiple projects and providing support, training and mentoring to all levels of staff and Apprentices. You will have a ’can do’ attitude with a strong commitment to contribute as a part of a team. This role is a full-time permanent position that is available for immediate start.
Experience and Skills
- Experience in all aspects of Commercial Landscape Maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills. This includes the ability to plan, schedule, prioritise and organise multiple projects and work requirements, including staff and resources.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation. You must have the ability to communicate and build relationships with field staff and all levels of stakeholders.
- Excellent computer and literacy skills.
- An eye for detail and a strong customer focus prioritising the needs of clients and their expectations
- Practical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Current Drivers Licence and White Card.
- A Landscape or Horticultural Qualification will be highly regarded.
- Experience in tendering and quoting larger scale grounds maintenance works an advantage
